Gut renovation of a 1950's-era cottage on a village street in East Hampton. The project included gutting the house down the studs. Several additions were constructed to allow for a better use of space. A new saline pool was constructed to take advantage of the limited-sized village lot. The floors are rift and quartered white oak. Ceilings are venetian plaster with blacked steel structural beams. Kitchen cabinets are shop sprayed in a satin finish and constructed with prefinished maple interiors and unfinished brass hardware. A new floating staircase was constructed from white oak with a site built railing system. Bathrooms are tiled in honed Bardiglio marble and honed Calacatta gold marble with teak vanities.
